Bible Journey with Paul — Support
A Christian adventure game following Paul through Acts, recommended ages 13+. Play 17 interactive stages, collect keepsakes and stamps, and explore companion study guides with Scripture, reflection, recall prompts and discussion questions. English and Simplified Chinese are available.
Begin your adventure
Choose Start adventure to begin in Damascus. Follow the map, complete each short activity, read the Scripture and reflection, press the wax seal, and choose Keep this memory after reading the keepsake. Use Continue to return to a saved journey. The Bible study guide offers reading and discussion alongside the game.
For families, teachers and groups
Choose Bible study guide to see the course directory. For parents & teachers is a free guide to reading together, trying an activity, recalling one idea and discussing a practical response. A suggested session takes about 15–20 minutes; adapt it to your group. These are planning estimates, not guaranteed lesson lengths.
Use your own Bible to read each complete passage. Interactive scenes contain dramatized details. The app supplements Bible study; it is not accredited coursework or a measure of personal faith. Adults should preview the scenes and guide interpretation within their community's tradition.
The reading guides for unlocked lessons may be visited in any order, without finishing activities. Use Show a text clue after attempting the recall prompt, then Mark as reviewed. Reviewed lessons and completed interactive stops are recorded separately. On a shared device, these are device-level records, not separate student grades.
Recall and story keepsakes
Try one recall question opens an optional factual question with a Bible reference, passage clue and explanation. You can retry or continue without answering; recall never removes a stamp or grades personal faith. Journey recall · up to three stops revisits accessible lessons you have completed or marked as reviewed. If it is empty, explore or review a lesson first.
Reward cards stay open until you choose Keep this memory. In the travel journal, open a collected keepsake or verse and choose Revisit this lesson to return to its study guide. Scripture and Christian reflection have separate labels; brief passage notes explain the context where needed.
Free lessons and the complete study
Versions 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 include five free lessons: Damascus, Antioch, Paphos, Pisidian Antioch and Lystra. The older version 1.0.0 includes three; update from the App Store for five. One optional non-consumable Apple purchase unlocks the remaining twelve interactive lessons and all seventeen study guides. The app displays Apple's current localized price before payment. There is no subscription, advertising or consumable purchase.
To unlock, tap a lesson marked Complete study, or open Settings > Purchase & education offers. Apple asks you to confirm payment. A cancelled or pending purchase does not unlock additional lessons. If a child's request is waiting for approval, access updates after Apple confirms the approved transaction.
To restore on another device or after reinstalling, sign in to the Apple Account used for the purchase and choose Restore Purchases from the purchase screen. First purchases, restores and offer redemption require an internet connection. Do not pay again merely because a purchase could not be verified. Family Sharing is shown in the app when the product supports it; it depends on Apple family settings. Learning progress remains on each device.
If the store is unavailable, the free lessons remain usable. Previously verified unlocked lessons can be used offline when Apple's cached entitlement is available. Retry the price or restore when connected. For an Apple charge or refund request, use Apple's purchase support.
Education offers and school purchasing
Individual teachers and students can ask developer@zhienapp.com about Apple education offer codes. Offers depend on availability, eligible Apple Accounts and the terms of the code issued; an inquiry does not guarantee a code. In-app redemption requires iOS 16.3 or later; codes may also be redeemed in the App Store. Apple displays any discounted price before confirmation.
For a minor, a parent or guardian can make the inquiry. Do not send student lists, school identity documents, religious affiliation or children's personal information.
Schools using centrally managed devices should contact support before purchasing. An individual in-app purchase or code is not an assignable license for every school device. Apple's volume discount for eligible paid apps does not automatically discount this free app's one-time unlock. No school deployment contract or managed classroom service is included.
Interactive journey
Select Start adventure or Continue, visit the next map stop and choose Enter. Tap, drag, swipe, hold or choose a reply following the current cue. ? shows the cue again. After an activity, read its Scripture and Christian reflection, then choose Continue. Press the seal, read the illustrated keepsake and choose Keep this memory to save the stop to your journal. The route follows the story in sequence; completed stops can be revisited.
Use Pause to keep an activity in place. Going to the background pauses it. In version 1.0.2, the current journey in Caesarea, the Storm and Rome can continue from its latest saved stable phase. Other unfinished activities and replays restart on exit. Completed stops and the post-activity reading/seal stage remain saved. In version 1.0.2, Settings offers text sizes up to 200%, an easier tap option in Lystra and a wider rhythm window in Philippi. Optional review suggestions and printable activity sheets stay on your device. Rhythm notes in Philippi return in another phrase when missed. Some events are scripted; follow the next cue or use the reading guide.
Saving, sound and motion
Progress stays on this device; there is no cloud sync or student roster. Start Over clears the interactive journey after confirmation but retains preferences, reviewed lesson marks and local recall records. Deleting the app or clearing browser preview data may remove progress. If a storage warning appears, keep the app open and check available device space.
Settings includes sound and Reduced Motion. The iOS app respects the silent switch. Reduced Motion limits interface transitions, flashes and shaking; movement essential to an activity remains.
Content and participation
The study includes stylized peril, imprisonment, stoning, a fall, snakebite, shipwreck and a biblical account of preventing self-harm. Adults should preview lessons. Learners can pause, reflect privately or use the reading guides without completing an activity. Do not imitate dangerous scenes.
Contact
